MAFTS Terms & Conditions
Introduction
These Terms and Conditions apply to all users of the MAFTS website (www.mafts.es) and anyone booking or attending our classes, courses, or workshops. By accessing our site or enrolling in any of our services, you agree to comply with these terms. “MAFTS”, "organiser", “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Marina Alta Fashion & Textiles Studio, the organiser and provider of all classes, workshops, courses, and services offered via www.mafts.es. “You”, “your”, “participant”, or “student” refer to any individual booking, attending, or taking part in any MAFTS class, workshop, or course, whether booking directly or on behalf of another person (such as a parent or guardian booking for a minor).
Course Registration and Payment
To secure your place in any of the above workshops or classes, full payment is required at the time of enrolment.
We accept payments via credit card, PayPal, and bank transfer. Payment details will be provided upon registration.
Course Participation
Most materials are provided. Participants are welcome to bring their own materials if preferred.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation by Participant:
If you need to cancel your participation, please notify us as soon as possible.
Cancellations made before the course start date/time will receive a credit for the amount paid. This credit can be used for future classes or workshops.
No cash refunds will be issued.
Cancellation by Organiser:
In the unlikely event that the course is cancelled by the organiser, participants will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer their payment to a future course date.
Liability
Personal Property:
Participants are responsible for their own personal property. The organiser is not liable for any loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings during the course.
Health and Safety:
Participants are required to follow all health and safety guidelines provided by the organiser. The organiser is not liable for any injuries sustained during the course.
Code of Conduct
Respect and Inclusivity:
Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and inclusive manner towards other participants and the organiser. Any form of harassment or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the course without a refund.
Active participation is encouraged, but participants are free to engage at their own comfort level.
Privacy Policy
Personal Information:
Any personal information collected during registration will be used solely for the purpose of administering the course and will not be shared with third parties without your consent.
The organiser may take photographs or videos during the course for promotional purposes. By participating in the course, you consent to being photographed or filmed. If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please inform the organiser at the start of the course. All students under the age of 18 will not be identified when photographed or filmed.
Amendments.
Changes to Terms:
The organiser reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Participants will be notified of any changes prior to the course start date.
